So the game playing that was involved today had me going to different Salvation Armys looking for food and then someone placed a bet on whether I would pick up a torn up 100 dollar bill on the ground and argue with someone at a bank that legally they had to accept it (which would later involve me being forced to have to put up with the "legal" thing later) or whether I would go to a salvation army and be handed a bag of food excepting that some of the food may not be good and the bag itself were made of plastic that might screw up my hands. Or possibly the food. I chose the latter because it involved more fat people and less stalking although I don't know that this means that I'm a communist excepting in so much as I want to live in a society where we don't bet on what the homeless or the poor will do. Because it's fucking awful. And now I'm going to see if I can do something useful before using this as a placeholder for all my in real time complaining.
Working with copilot here are the necessary steps in order to hypothesis test tetrachromatacy in people. It's a whole lot of buzz words that I don't understand, and so I'll keep digging. Technically speaking if it is possible with genetic engineering you may be able to give people enhanced color vision with a pill if all the steps work. Which is a big if - not to mention the expense. What does "Self-cleaving peptide (e.g., P2A) for co-expression with reporter or regulatory proteins." mean and how does this relate to what you do in a lab using a pipette and a test tube (ie "for real tho"). It's interesting to note that all of a sudden copilot has stopped giving me errors such as "human testing is not something I can talk about because of ethical considerations and so on etc". Biology is probably one of the more useful aspects of AI given the finite number of possible chemical reactions (though large) and how computational combinatorics can solve many of these problems, so this is a promising update.
Science is a weird field. And by that I mean that when you look at the applied sciences there are only so many things that you can do if you have money. I'm being reductive, but in a sense you can expand computation through incremental incrementation and there will be breakthroughs in quantum computing and AI through difficult but feasible engineering over the next five to ten years. AI will be able to solve many problems in biology - specifically human biology. There will be a massive need for more power as the energy to use the systems we have developed in AI goes through the roof and so everyone all of a sudden is going to have nuclear reactors in their backyard one way or the other. There will be mass robot cars for transportation even on the highways which will drastically reduce shipping costs and convert much of middle america back to growing food as opposed to be intersections with gas stations or supply depots - ditto for much of the rest of the world. There will be a revolution in robotics as risc-5 becomes cheap enough that embedded systems become the new "I learned to program" and someone comes up with the next revolution in drone design that's land based.
In many respects that's all expanding on current paths of what we already know from the position we're in (in the optimistic we don't run into a global shortage/more wars path). But it doesn't say and can't say in some sense what we don't already know from expanding on what we have already. You're now aware that this book I haven't read, but is the kind of thing where you want to tell pretty girls at cocktail parties that you know everything about, was released five years before the Matrix movie came out. So I could start asking bing everything it knows about neuralink and whether it would be possible to recreate a fictional simulated reality (while asking on the internet) just like I'm sure several million other internet dweebs. They now sell hockey pucks that are as powerful as desktop computers used to be which you can connect to dual screen portable monitors for a fraction of the cost of a phone that's major claim to fame is that it folds in half. And in five years personal computers will be even cheaper. As it is you can connect several of these hockey pucks together on an rc car and see if you can't attach a sensor suite or do some automation. And it would still most likely be cheaper than a phone that's more expensive and less interesting than a book - although it does fold in half. So there's that.
I suppose what I'm saying is that it's hard to know what the next idea will be that's in any way useful. I don't currently have resources to work on building the cool car or any of that although I'm certain that someone will. In a way it's weird because just like in permuation city much of what is possible to do from an engineering perspective is already known and so getting to have enough resources to do it is something of a I'm not going to say privilege because I find those people annoying, but just a matter of who has enough resources to get the credit. Meanwhile I have chinese people and blacks taking bets on whether I want free food or free money without having the means to make a living by myself. So there's that.
Part of what makes San Francisco so "fun and interesting" is that there will be people that will stalk you and make you feel uncomfortable while you have no money and "you must be crying wolf" because you're being fucked with. There's currently a black guy that's pretending to have a fit behind me and if I go to the librarians they'll claim he's "just listening to music" as he starts waving around in his chair. They're more or less all like this. The guy next to me is nodding out either because he's been sickened enough or he's on drugs. But I "found food today", so I'm totally "not in trouble". While this guy is speaking in tongues behind me. More or less everyone here is contagious. I had to wipe down this keyboard with whatever is in the soap dispensor and touching it is gross. The people here are worse. I wish I hadn't come here. What a waste.
Also - nothing against Chinese people. Why were all the people waiting for food outside the 4th street Salvation Army Chinese? Is there something I don't know where only certain ethnic groups can go to certain lines? And if they don't it's a big deal? This is important to me because it's the difference between being stalked and poisoned or not. And no one will tell you because they keep secrets and well stalk and poison each other. That's why I like *money*. If you can pay for something then it doesn't matter where you eat. Hypothetically. Maybe not here. I was the only non-Chinese person there and there were like 200 people. I got two cans of off brand garbanzo beans and two off brand things of apple sauce (American Farms and Indian Summer respectively) that had me coughing up crap - which may be good for all I know. I didn't want any of the fruits and vegetables because I don't know that I wouldn't get some weird disease. Is that why no one goes that's not Chinese? Again - I just don't want to die of plague or malnutrition at this point. by the way they're doing this s*** now where the keyboard on the third floor of the library in the main Central library will be poisonous to use so I'll get like or sick on my handsoh by the way for some reason whenever I'm poisoned and just the right way someone will the the keyboard will auto correct and put put dollar sign 1-0 so it's like it's like a dollar but like 10 like 10 because 10 and 2 in binary is you know too and 10 anyway I just exited the library and they have these books that are on like you can buy them like in the store and on the end the end cap of one of the aisles it had something about like the perfect Latin American idiot and then queer Dharma or something and I come around the cornerand I come around the corner and there's some queer girl with a nose ring running into the library just as it's closing like she's won a million dollars so I was yet again poisoned to someone who did something f***** up to the only available keyboard in the library unless I go hunting around for one of the other libraries for which I will be poisoned there as well because I got free food so you could either starve to death and then not have not be poisoned with fentanyl or you could eat food but be poisoned with fentanylor you could beg for dollar bills from people who are scaffolding you and preventing you from working so it's mostly like it like I feel high and f***** up right now and by using the keyboard in a library for which someone got a payoff and it's just it's so exhausting being around this many stupid peoplethe other thing is is that the conversations I'm having with my parents are are like things that I talk to them about I'm seeing in in the in the wild in when I'm walking around and I don't believe it's coincidence so either they know something that I don't and they're part of this game to f*** with me or their llms and either way I just stop eating for eight days and nearly died and I haven't had money for 3 years while being poisoned repeatedly so again this is been 5 years of me saying I need a joband that I can't find work and then my parents calling autocorrect made that funny but I'm keeping it because it is funny so I just I don't I just I have no belief that there's anything I can do on my own and so long as I don't starve and record everything that happens I wait for the world to make sense not until it does I don't believe in anyoneone of the things that I've described repeatedly is what I call boating and this is when you'll have a collection of homeless that are all doing drugs in a circle and forming encampments so one of the things that they do which it's a form of social controlis they'll get upset with anyone that's forming like anyone that manages to find a way of creating dopamine they'll become they'll become upset with and so the currency becomes dopamine as opposed to money right so if you do drugs you have to pay for the dopamine for the drugs that you were doing if you're doing something which is socially acceptable like exercising that's one thing if you masturbate or you sex then you'll find that the homeless if you are in a homeless area or incandment area we'll find where you are and do drugs around you repeatedly it's essentially a way to kill someone they'll do it with food as well so if you find a way to get free food and you don't do it in a socially acceptable manner which the rules for this are not defined they'll have large amounts of people do anything they can to have you poisoned and so this is the reason that you have all of the buildings in San Francisco abandoned because if you end up having socially unacceptable way of creating dopamine you'll be murdered essentially and the only people who can have dopamine are those people for whom their thing for which they do is socially acceptable among criminals because because money is bad therefore doing anything that would create dopamine for yourself that does not hurt others is therefore also bad because there are no rules and no One believes in morality anymore and so if I eat food and then masturbate in a toilet which are things which would not hurt other people and again just enough food to maintain my own body weight and doing something for which it doesn't hurt anyone else I'll have large numbers of homeless see if they can't do drugs around mecoordinate their sexual activity with mine to see if they can get money or drugs by sickening the people that might come around me and poisoning my bed by doing something to the bed which would cause it to become sick like coughing on it or wiping drugs on it again these are activities for which it's to regulate my own body and then again like I'll eat 3,000 calories a day yesterday I had no calories and then it evens out and see you end up defending a lifestyle for which it doesn't hurt other people around people who are designed and whose modus operandi is to hurt other people no matter whatand this is because they don't believe in money and so there is no currency of exchange which so there's no currency of exchange other than power or drugs or violence and because of this you can't build a building with drugs and violence you can't operate a store or a business with drugs or violence you can't create science with drugs and violence I mean you can if you go to war and then you fund an industrial complex that's designed around that but then how do you pay the workers right so like the entire system of society is based on like this person has found dopamine release in a way that's not acceptable if I were running around the block then I would have to pay pay for shoes and then those shoes would be somehow not okay if I was doing tai chi in the shelters I'll have a bunch of people sicken me and then I'll have a bunch of people wearing masks on the street who are doing Tai chi because there's like they're mentally ill and they're trying to come off drugs and they can't and they see me as like oh this guy is found a dopamine release mechanism and so I'll copy him in sick and him and then wear a mask and see if other people wear it like want to sick and me in return so that we all share dopamine over this stupid thing so it's essentially like it's a form of violence based on like a dopamine disorder in essence and because of this like they're they're sick and contagious and violent and they there's no like you have to have the CDC come in here and start cleaning house because there's no other way of fixing this like is someone eats food but they eat it in the wrong manner they'll be sick and if someone exercises but they do it in the wrong manner they'll be sickened if someone masturbates in the toilet but they do it in the wrong manner they'll be sickened so it's anyway that releases dopamine it's that would be that would be done in such a way that it that someone else could kill themso you just see as well so if you're poor and you don't want to do any of this s*** and you just want a job and this is what happens the police officer repeatedly said that it was not my it could have been a citizens arrest and therefore it was a reasonable amount of force to punch me in the face while he's playing with the gold chain around his neck and then asked me why I was being racist by mentioning that the guy was black oh but the staff member who played with his classes after I had my glasses stolen was a white douchebag in his 60s so we're learning all sorts of things about racial equality they're just f****** assholes every single f****** one of them one of the black gangsters is doing the false equivalent s*** where he'll like talking to his phone and then I can't talk into mine except I'll be assaulted and then they corrupt all the staff members this after being poisoned repeatedly for I don't know how long till I stop eating the food and then they poison the sheets in the blankets essentially the only way to find out what's going on is to record every input and output into your body at all to find out how you're being poisoned because no one will tell youand then they start assaulting you and stealing your s*** another note when I was at the FBI there was a schizophrenic lady who was waiting in line who it was homeless who was talking about how the food was poisoned and she would say this s*** were like I just ignored her but I paid attention to what she's saying because many of the people who are schizophrenic are talking to themselves or saying and they have like a playbook on how it worked and what didn't and they see that people are doing the same thing with hardware again and so it's oh if you're going to do the sociological thing that happened before technologically we can do the sociological thing if it happened before culturally hence you have it doesn't matter if your potato it's either fried or baked but potato is a play on words for couch potato so if you're a couch potato and your basis of doing work is to sit on a couch and type words into a television which to them isn't work then we'll either poison your food or or you're going to get high or there's going to be some sort of sort of thing for which there will be a trade-off that involves you being sick somehow and anyone that doesn't know what's going on doesn't get a choice because the food supply is poisonousso you can either be a part of a secret society for which you get to know what food is in it isn't poisonous be on the take with money that you you got for something like a payoff of hurting someone or just eat everything and then hope it works out but any any of these options are bad and see you you put people in categories based on the choices they have to make on how they're not going to be killed or sickened into into being crippled for life or impoverished for life and then if you're so thoroughly traumatized by this that you like try and play the culture of levers that are in place to like get something out of it then you'll be like the guy who was incredibly fashionable for 5 minutes until bell bottoms went out of style and then they just look like an idiot they weren't wrong they just were screwed over in some way because they were rewarded for being not themselves anyway it doesn't matter I would have to make over $60,000 a year to afford a place to live or be on the take and I don't have glasses now so it's stealing your computer and stealing your glasses so I can't make money that way so it's just like there's no way to
