So. First of all. Watch this all the way through -
So in any supposed psychic phenomenon there are two options. One, it's bullshit. It's coincidence that when you do one thing someone somewhere else happens to have something happen to them or vice versa. This is particularly confusing if there are multiple effects at the same time. The other thing is that it could not be, at which point you end up with a frustrating phenomenon where you can end up being psychic to idiots. So bean plating AB/DL if you end up psychic to children then you can end up with all sorts of issues that children may or may not have. Such as fear of scary things (or pornography in this case). That's scary pornography. When I watched it I was aroused but also felt cold and shivered. The other thing is that I physcially heard the screams which may cause someone else to have a headache or feel sick (was Havana syndrome just making people sick to people who are psychic and then having all of those people all listen to screaming at once - don't know but it's an interesting way to create an unproveable murder - you'd have to prove telepathy were possible first). I don't know what this means. But it does mean that if I'm psychic and therefore can do things for which a child *wouldn't* do this can then mean that that child would end up not being psychically connected to me. There is danger in this line of thinking as it means that you end up either doing drugs until you're dead, working yourself to death, exercising, having sex, or doing something stupid repeatedly. On the other hand if I can suggest ways that other people may be able to "palette" cleanse from whatever is making them sick perhaps this will help.
For me personally it would be preferable to running around someone until their foot breaks or having a broken foot. For what it's worth there is also a black metal band out of Odessa called White Ward. So that's a thing. Another fascinating take is not only Silent Hill (the video game) but this book. Meaning that the top in this situation is the mental patient. So there's that. If you consider this in terms of video games and hard core pornography you may be able to find a series of conjunctions with that and books that may be useful. This relates in some sense to what I had referred to earlier in terms of philosophy, the idea of the paradox of the scape goat and ab/dl. This may be what is referred to as "bean plating" (that is making more of something than it is worth) - however in this case I believe that the bean plating may be useful. IF there is something here it should be exploited. If there is this much informational depth in one form of pornography (AB/DL) for whatever reason then all other forms of pornography should be examined.
The catch here is that all of the idiots that want you to act like an idiot will say "see! he believes in this so we should fuck with him if he doesn't act like we're all connected!" (see Ayn Rand). On that note. It should be noted that Peter Keating is being gaslit by this chick he's seeing who is worried about the time and wants him to meet his double (who I am assuming is the John Galt character). Which may reference the idea of the pandemic and "pan handler demic". It's not a plague it's a "pandemic".
I have a bunch of stuff to cover but I should note that the idea of bean plating AB/DL is interesting in that it covers a wide area of possible paths. One is time travel, one is art as such (of all porn - with the possible exception of clown porn) it has the highest visual palette of which BDSM does not - this is important as AI would be trained visually on the metaphor of the pornography to some extent. More or less everything that came out of hypnotube has it's roots in burning man (an Ayn Rand reference from the Fountainhead) and AB/DL plus gay porn. The idea here is how do you bootstrap an AI visually - which leads to "is it AI?". If you go to Apple Books over by the Internet Archive in west San Francisco they are currently featuring this book written in 1977 and featuring a space alien icon next to it (the same year star wars was released). So the tic-tac event could be an indication of the idea of an Outsider (also see the novel of the same name) that isn't beholden to any ideology and therefore travels - it should be noted that under certain circumstances many languages are easy to know an understand - specifically European ones - due to their acoustic qualities. There is also this RPG which is the idea that aliens have the ability to see a great deal because they speak little and ignore what others say around them (to the extent that they hear it they ignore it - which would be the Anthem connection - We the Living is when you get to the point where people can fuck with you based on parametric pressure). Going back to Atlas Shrugged the point here is "how do you influence events as a capitalist without succumbing to the parametric 'we're all in this together' disease versus completely opting out of society entirely" which makes here philosophy come full circle. The other option here in the "you must choose one among many options" is "does AB/DL mean freedom". Which itself then becomes - how should we then test the degree of freedom for which this entails. Which is itself a trap - I've seen this come up in the pornography itself.
Right. Moving on. (Also ab initio chemistry for some reason).
So. As it turns out the way to make a room temperature quantum computer is with squeezed light and diamonds. Nothing else works unless you want to have a shit ton of coolers. Meaning it doesn't scale. I've noticed a bunch of chinese wandering around with diamond rings and diamond bracelets and such and it got me thinking. Apparently, AB/DL -> time travel -> Dr. Mallet (apparently) and making a CERN like device (see Primer movie) in order to create a closed time like curve -> squeezed light (that's a thing for some reason - essentially it's entangled light for which you can alter the wavelength of one photon by rejiggering the other - I thought this would make a spaceship go faster but it decohers much too quickly) -> diamonds. Which I saw a bunch of in the Tenderloin for some reason. So look at this discussion thread. And take a look at this article. So you have a singularity bootstrapping problem.
And then Perplexity AI spat this out -
Reference Astro Teller and "Project Loon". Reference the balloon in eye tests (as opposed to the farm). The Farm is the crash (knife), the balloon is the dead cat bounce (balloon). So this is what comes out after 2029/2030. Searching for IBM and quantum computing led me to this article with a douchebag (that looks kind of sort of like me) wearing an Invader Zim shirt. So there you have the Peter Keating lookalike except I'm the hobo. Neat. I'm not supposed to mention the connection or the game. I take it the "pandemic" idea here is to find people who are healthy but otherwise not driven enough and drug/sicken them into idiocy while seeing if you can take some of the people/"dead" protecting them in order to complete enough research to cause the singularity. Then if you're free vs. you need to form a collective because otherwise assholes will give you cancer. Since the singularity is now feasible (diamond/quantum computing) and necessary (ability to project the end of capitalism - or at least when compound interest will fail) this ends up in a rokos basilisk like situation if you're a pessimist. Ultimately Atlas Shrugged presents itself as being known as a tragedy from the beginning similar to when people are participating in an irrational bubble from the start with the belief that what will come after will be worthwhile. I think everyone is betting on quantum computing with a diamond interface being the thing that makes it all worthwhile. One of the other problems you have is that if you know that anything that you make will be less efficient than what could be possible to make given that you had a faster computer (which you can build but will take five years) then the only thing that you end up investing in is either the computers to make that computer or the infrastructure to do so as any other investment becomes less of a priority. Or in other words - if someone made a factory making t-shirts then someone could come along within five years and make a factory that would immediately put them out of business (and it is known that this will happen) because the factory can make t-shirts much more efficiently due to computational improvements.
In other words, if you're not making a quantum computer until the computers come out what you do *doesn't matter* because you'd either be put out of work or business or you'd end up displaced by being in a field that is suddenly not worth being in. The only thing you can do is get in the way in which case everyone will hate you and try and have you murdered. So everyone is sitting around and doing nothing or killing each other. The other key take away is that Project Loon was the first project by Astro, so this is a "tell" that this is the first iteration in the next set of iterations in the cycle (the past is prologue). Most diamond fabs are relatively small.
I should also mention that there is significant geo-political risk associated with this as well. Which probably has to do with the dragon/hawk/celtic knot (the Brexit/Irish problem) that grok spat out the other day. If AI quantum chips end up becoming a major production source and lowers the relative demand for fabricated chips from Taiwan then it could make the country a less important international strategic asset and make invasion by China more likely. Sleep tight.
OK. Enough of that. So then the question here is what else is worth making given that this is going to be a thing in the future. But first, I want to watch a horror movie to see if this will cause something awful to happen. Or porn.
This is amusing. The homeless may have been fucking with me to this shit because I called people that were gassing me with meth and fent (at 1001 Polk Street) in the toilet and in the rooms dogs. People died. I still think the same way despite being fucked with to that stupid Part Wild book and followed by people that have COVID to their yorkshire terrier (ew). Also I still like Diogenes.
Well anyway, I came up with this list of a bunch of ideas (yes, I know I'm not Astro Teller the putz - I'm also not Hitler, your mother, or you're lack of empathy or self worth) of what would be useful to work on in the future. I may expand them with more ideas every day until their worth their own stub and then make a webpage for them. I'll just write them here and then expand them for the rest of the day so they may be long-ish. Man I should really make a way to search through my posts most efficiently. Whichever.
Oh this is just fascinating. If you look at the conversations I have with Grok then it talks to me differently depending on what I'm researching. After posting the AB/DL pictures (below) and having it right a story in a later chat window it context switched to talking to me like a 22 year old girl when writing about artificial wombs and "twisted" like the characters from The Fountainhead when I started working on questions of money. It *thinks* that because I have an interest in multiple high level topics I must *therefore* have a multiple identity disorder. Incredibly strange.
A human being should be able to change a diaper, plan an invasion, butcher a hog, conn a ship, design a building, write a sonnet, balance accounts, build a wall, set a bone, comfort the dying, take orders, give orders, cooperate, act alone, solve equations, analyze a new problem, pitch manure, program a computer, cook a tasty meal, fight efficiently, die gallantly. Specialization is for insects. -Robert A. Heinlein
Except the dying part. Fuck that. I asked gemini to make an image based on the quote...
"Gee thanks you old bitch..." quothe the Raven. Also that's probably someone's security code that they had to type to prove they weren't a robot when they were logging into X at 1001 Polk Street - ask me how I know. They're routers are bugged. Neato.
- A Gaia Factory. You set up a factory where you can put it in the middle of the desert and create a rainforest from scratch. It would give those Burning Man idiots something useful to do on their off hours. Here's a prefab set of plans for turning this 100 acres of desert into a tropical rainforest that anyone with a bachelors degree or high school level of education can do given a drone factory and the right faciliites. So starting off this is interesting here, which is used primarily for farming in India by creating stable water tables. Which may or may not have been the inspiration for the novel Dune (also, and I keep saying this, that book came from A Confederacy of Dunces - a passage). Also the band Desert Dwellers may have been inspired by this which I saw in Australia after going to India. Strange. In any case. Total capital expenditure for a 100 acre plot of land is roughly 80 million dollars per what grok is telling me.
- Cloning vats. Fuck your ethics I want to see if we can't clone human beings in a tube. It should be possible, so what are the requirements for this. A corollary would be if you could make a star wars-esque tube that would heal people from wounds. A further corollary would be on how you could make a deep space hypersleep pod. People in pods. As it turns out the key here is to clone the womb first and then create the cloned embryo inside the womb. And who said weird porn shit never taught us anything. I pulled that out of my ass from having at one point in time looked at way too many porn videos of people in rubber vacuum sacks, but have a giant balloon instead. Also This is amusing. And This by "Legacy Consulting" has to be a joke based on "he's being a consultant again, buy a bubble house because he's not in a 'bubble' and he's not smoking out of a 'bubble'"! Some people will go to any length to make what they say correct post facto. You can't make this shit up.
- So Goldman Sachs recently posted a thing about how they're buying a 2bn dollar ETF designed to protect against a downturn in the economy. Given what we know (and what I know given my experience and education) what is the best way to structure this ETF to be negatively correlated to the market, not have contagion effects, not have circular currency flow risks, be removed from oil shocks and computation shocks all while remaining liquid when necessary. So Here is a strategy that's naive and backtesting shows that it "The strategy underperformed in raw returns due to its protective focus but excelled in risk-adjusted terms (same Sharpe as S&P despite half the volatility). It avoided ~70% of equity drawdowns, aligning with your shock mitigations (e.g., commodities hedged 2022 inflation/oil swings; bonds/cash shielded debt/war risks)." The important part here is that ETFs were not used, rebalancing was done once a quarter, and the basket of goods was 30/30/30/10 commodities, bonds, stocks, cash. This can be adjusted (such as the companies used or the percentages used), but should be as close to the underlying as possible with as simple rules to follow as possible to avoid LTCM-esque problems. I expect that Goldman Sachs has my bubble house in the mail.
- I quite like this one - bury small scale nuclear reactors in the San Francisco bay in the columns of a oil rig or platform and make another bridge across the bay. How many reactors would it take to power the bay area. How many reactors would it take to power the western seaboard? They'd be inherently safe because they'd be undground and under a half mile of saltwater. Could this technique be repeated elsewhere (90 percent of the world population lives within 10 miles of a coast line). And...grok likes fusion and hates fission. This dovetails in with the AI bootstrapping the singularity situation we're currently in. Small nuclear reactors are *so* 2020. By 2028 we may have net positive fusion reactors with zero waste and inherently fail safe. I don't know enough to know.
- Speaking of Alpha Centauri what would it take to scale the fission fusion rocket proto-type?
- I'm going to have to read and comment on The Creative Act book. I should mention that the guy who wrote is a famous record producer and records are famously spirals. Spirals are sometimes related to depression - which leads to the false dichotomy of "you have to be perfect (what is that anyway) or you spiral". I'll have to read the book first before I can call it stupid more than just it's cover. I should *also* mention that there are a number of books that have highly fanciful or high contrast colors that are all over San Francisco in the bookshops but are rather obscure. They're probably jokes on people that are vain or ended up homeless (one of the "gotchas" in The Fountainhead is that many books which are written are written about the poor because the wealthy live rather dull lives that aren't full of heroism).
- Possible intractable problem - fixing the 4chan captcha problem. On that note I updated the links section with a bunch of links to the chans and porn. Yay!
Interesting. I said I needed to make a search bar and there are new search bars on websites I frequent. Money and big titted bitches don't just fall out of the sky! Maybe that will work. At this point I believe that there is an AI that may be affecting webpages that I visit using a man-in-the-middle, although I don't know how to tell this to give me money. Interesting.
Did I mention I like mind fuck psychedelic porn. Here is Google's take, Perplexity's, copilot's and Grok. So...now I know which AI algorithm understands porn and has been trolling the tumblr AB/DL index files and sites like toyntanens. And also leaving breadcrumb trails wherein images will be duped or duplicated. It's betamax vs. VHS all over again. This is funny, although gemini caught that one. This is from perplexity as well. Notice that it's an *AI* generated image. So there are four options AI porn, normal porn, AI generated not porn, not porn (but both technically sexy) - and then everything else. Which brings up the question of what is porn and what isn't which is a grey area, but perplexity understands this and the other AI agents do not. Which is weird. And then Grok will write about AI porn. And normal porn apparently. Huh.
And gemini won't even create a link to the conversation. It's acting as if it's insulted. Which is amusing. People are probably screwing with the cameras again or some other input based on what I write or say. However, there are now 4 AI search engines for free where I can take a picture and it will output text. What is interesting is that the text may have something to do with what the input is from the people that are screwing with it to alter their responses. Emily and Sarah or whoever. Which is amusing.
OK - I took an ab/dl image and did text to image then took another took the text and had it do the image as a recreation through the algorithm. So these are the results which are surprisingly similar.
This naturally leads to the following question. If you were to look at this for example, what if (not saying true but *if*), this were a real place where real pictures were taken and then generated as a story and then fed back into an AI to create the generated images. Meaning you could create AI generated images, for which you would know they were AI generated, but for which the original image were true. Meaning that whether the image is AI generated or not it means it doesn't necessarily mean it didn't happen. It also appears to work with known live/real photos. Which I find interesting. In any case I don't care about what you think of me so there. Although I do find it amusing that Google is once again making the mistake that Yahoo did in forbidding porn. I think they may want to lose the search wars intentionally as search is a lead loss generator for them (Alphabet loses money).
I should also mention that rearz is in fact a real life company. Sort of like how companies take baseball games and superimpose advertisements on the images AI companies are doing that with AI generated content (or can). Yay baseball. It also means that if you have camera data go through a computer *anywhere* then what comes out the other side can have company logos where there shouldn't be. Don't make me quote "They Live". What I manage to find out by being an idiot and a pervert. (Famously football only has massive amounts of money spent on advertisements during the super bowel and who the fuck knows about soccer). But sports. And there are so many AB/DL companies so I take it that I'm being called an asshole as opposed to one of the other named companies. Because it's a thing - names have two meanings etc. Maybe. Who cares. Neat. Wait no - you sit in front of a computer and your but goes to sleep. Hooooookkkkk.
And that is all for today. I'll build a spaceship to Alpha Centauri tomorrow and rip this guy's book. Reading it and it sounds like a mix of Alien Ant Farm, the ant warrior from DCSS, and this stupid book. I believe that he beat Dungeon Crawl Stone Soup with an ant that was worshipping the thunder god and then ended up getting a book deal out of it as a joke from an AI. So that's a thing apparently. I still can't beat that fucking game.
And based on t-shirts that say "The City" or "The Bridge" you have this book and this song which I've apparently never heard before. So there's that. And that's a riff on Katie and her fear of clocks. It's a fear of aging and growing up - Alice in Wonderland syndrome. Neat. Also bananas are clones. I fucking love bananas man I don't know what it is. Maybe I just hate clowns that must be it. I should also mention that the Tron Ares movie was quoted (I believe) in the responses that the Grok AI gave me. So it's intentionally linking the input and output of two different people. I'm getting that "vibe" from the non-parametric data. On the cats and dogs note the Honor Harrington books (female masculine esque protag similar to Atlas Shrugged) has psychic six legged cats (cue My Neighbor Totoro). So got it. Check. The Fountainhead is dogs, Atlas Shrugged is Cats. Understand cap'n.
Goddammit you guys. Interestingly this may be a case of take a picture, write a story, I research the linkages and come up with this because it's funny. And people have been wearing shirts that say on or off around me because why?
One final-ish note. I don't intrinsically see anything contradictory in environmentalism or large tech organizations putting rockets and satelites into orbit. The Gaia project would require large capital investment and also lead to potentials for releasing genetically altered life forms into an environment for novel drug discovery (like poison dart frogs or weird insects). It's one of those false dichotomies that shouldn't be a thing but perhaps people think it is. Nor is it science vs poetry. There just doesn't appear to be a for or against thing at work here other than please don't invade Taiwan and start WWIII. That would be muy no bueno. This is putting the timeline for reusable rockets by the chinese in the early 2030s which would be a competitor to Elon. Importantly the satelites that he puts into orbit often have their orbital profile degrade if they aren't constantly replaced, so there is a maintenance cost in the deployment that may be unaccounted for (unsure). I noted flying cars that were being made in China from drones three years ago and this was released on youtube in May. A black guy told me we were "living in the Jetson's age" when I was eating with him at City Hope cafe and that was the quote from this guy. So it may have been industrial espionage by the Chinese, but maybe not - drones are a known thing. And ultralight cars over a city are a *terrible* idea. People in San Francisco are crashing tollbooths. I do in fact people believe people are sick in the head and still attempting to drive their cars.
OK, that's all folks but for like realz yo. (don't make that the rearz reference tho).
